Conceptual approaches to the formation of the Development Strategy of Uzhhorod National University for the period of 2023-2032 were developed in the process of implementing the international scientific project Анотації “Jean Monnet Transcarpathian Center for Studying European Development Strategies” (project applicant: ER Institute of European Integration Studies, academic coordinator: Director of the Institute, Ph.D., Associate Professor Ivan Artyomov). This scientific development serves as an important reference point and basis for the formation of a long-term development plan for Uzhhorod National University for the period of 2023-2032. The document is based on the provisions of Ukrainian Laws ‘On Education’, ‘On Higher Education’, ‘On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities’, the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, as well as other regulatory acts of Ukraine and the EU. The proposed conceptual principles for the formation of the long-term Development Strategy of Uzhhorod National University are developed based on the study of the experiences of leading universities in Ukraine and European Union countries, specifically the Warsaw University (Poland), Charles University (Czech Republic), Technical University of Kosice and Pavol Jozef Safarik University (Slovakia).
