Internship of the Doctoral student at the University of Presov Anna Kalistova at Uzhhorod National University

Anna Kalistova, a 2nd year doctoral student at the Department of Environmental Management, Faculty of Management, University of Prešov (Slovakia), successfully completed an internship at the Educational and Research Institute of European Integration Studies of Uzhhorod National University, Research Laboratory and Training Office of the Jean Monnet Transcarpathian Center under the guidance of Ph.D. Petro Tokar during August 2021.

The internship was conducted in accordance with the agreed plan, focusing primarily on the bibliography of Ukrainian scientists related to the topic of the doctoral student's dissertation – ‘Analytical view on the assessment of the application of certain environmental policy instruments in the European region.’

Significant work was done to study and collect materials for dissertation research and program writing, to create tools for joint sociological research with the Institute of Social Sciences of the Center of Social and Psychological Sciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Director Anna Kalistova) during the internship. The research will be conducted on the territory of the neighboring regions of the two countries. The research results will be processed based on the research laboratory of the Uzhhorod National University.

In addition, Anna Kalistova and Prof. Marian Gaidoš (on the picture) participated in online training at the Jean Monnet Center to prepare the concept for a joint international project of sociological research. The research results will be used in writing scientific articles of its participants, as well as the doctoral dissertation.
