Lecturer-researcher, Director of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence at Uzhhorod National University, Researcher of the Educational and Research Institute of European Integration Studies, Assoc. Prof. of the Department of International Studies and Public Communications of Uzhhorod National University Petro Tokar took part in the III International Workshop' Multidisciplinary Challenges in the Field of European Integration: The Experience of the Balkan Countries' which took place on April 14-15.

The event was hosted by the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the Western Ukrainian Research Center for European Studies (Director of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Oksana Holovko-Havrysheva).

The purpose of the event was to study the Balkan countries' experience compared to the achievements of the Eastern Partnership countries. Scientists from Austria, Romania, Albania, Croatia, and Ukraine took part in the forum.

Petro Tokar made a report 'Countering ethnoxenophobia and populism: European practices and the security aspect'.
