The annual university-wide competition of the best monograph was held in September of this year. Collective monograph European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine: state and prospects for implementation (2014-2022) (authors - Ivan Artyomov, Stepan Vidnyanskyi, Ihor Todorov, Petro Tokar). won first place in the 2022 monograph competition among the humanities and social sciences. The publication was prepared in the framework scientific project ‘Jean Monnet Transcarpathian Center for Studying European Development Strategies at Uzhhorod National University’ implementation.

The monograph, formed on a wide and modern source base, reveals the role of Ukraine in the modern geopolitical space, which is dynamically transforming. It focuses on the positive evolution of Ukraine’s multifaceted relations with the European Union and its individual member states. It notes Ukraine’s inevitable path to the Euro-Atlantic community and new challenges, including migration, demographic and other challenges. The monograph deals with the complex and controversial process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, which fully meets the requirements of the time and public demands, contributing to rethinking the place and role of Ukraine in the integration, and global processes.

The monograph was published in an edition of 300 copies, 100 of which were transferred to the library fund and 100 to the faculties of Uzhhorod National University.
