The international scientific and practical conference ‘European Integration and Cross-Border Cooperation’ was held on October 14, 2022 at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. The event was held as part of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Chair -Erasmus+ ‘EU Studies at Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University’.
Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Researcher of the Educational and Research Institute of European Integration Studies of UzhNU, Associate Professor of the Department of International Studies and Public Communication, Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Migration and Demography of Uzhhorod National University, Director of the Jean Monnet Transcarpathian Center for Studying European Development Strategies at the UzhNU Petro Tokar was a participant in this interesting and important event. He spoke on the topic ‘International Project Activity as a Direction of Actual Scientific Research’.
About 80 participants participated in the international scientific and practical conference. Rector of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University prof. Anatolii Tsos, expert of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine Petro Kraynik, Vice-rector of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University prof. Liudmyla Yelisieieva took part in the opening of the conference. They congratulated the participants on the double current holiday, emphasized the relevance of the theme of the event, assured of their support for the European integration activities of all participants in the educational and scientific process, including the activities carried out as part of the implementation of grant projects.
Representatives of 12 higher education institutions of Ukraine and abroad announced their thematic reports at the meeting (program of the event -http://surl.li/diqty). The topics of the speeches were quite diverse, as evidenced by the questions to the speakers and the discussion. At the end, the moderator of the event, Prof. Andriy Boyar noted that within the next two weeks, based on the results of the work, an electronic collection of conference materials will be prepared and published, which can be viewed on the project website (https://eenujeanmonnet.wordpress.com/).
