The scientific publication ‘Implementing the best international practices in the field of European studies: the Ukrainian experience’ (to the twentieth anniversary of the Jean Monnet program in Ukraine) has been published. The collection contains the materials of the workshop ‘Best practices of research and teaching of European studies: Ukrainian and international experience’, which was held on June 9, 2022 at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University online on the GoogleMeet platform. Workshop participants discussed the challenges and future of European studies in Ukraine during the war, and the international and Ukrainian experience of researching and teaching European studies in Ukraine.
Petro Tokar, Candidate Social of Sciences, Researcher of the Research Institute of European Integration Studies, Associate Professor of the Department of International Studies and Public Communications, Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Migration and Demography of Uzhhorod National University, Director of the Jean Monnet Transcarpathian Center for Studying European Development Strategies at the Uzhhorod National University is one of the authors of the collective publication. In his article ‘Attitude of European Studies Summer School Participants to Current Problems of Modernity: the Experience of the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence of the Uzhhorod National University", the practice of the JMTC team’s work on the implementation of the scientific project Jean Monnet Transcarpathian Center for Studying European Development Strategies at the Uzhhorod National University is highlighted. (Project manager – Prof. Ivan Artyomov, Director of the Research Institute of European Integration Studies of UzhNU). Much attention is paid to cooperation with colleagues in Ukraine and neighbors abroad.
